Hey there, friend.

You say you feel stuck in life, that you’re looking for purpose.

I hear this sentiment a lot from people.

They don’t feel satisfied with their jobs, they’re searching for more purpose without finding anything that sticks, and they believe that something BIG needs to happen to them in order to start feeling like they are living their dreams.

I always tell them, “Your purpose is right now.”

It sounds simple enough, but can be a difficult concept to embrace.

Everything you are searching for is already right in front of you. Unlimited purpose exists within your life, right now, at this very moment.

There is always ample opportunity around you to be of service, to live with purpose, and to create meaningful impact in the world around you (no matter where you are in your journey).

However, it is up to you to be able to see and recognize these opportunities for what they are. Purpose isn’t going to simply walk up your driveway and knock on your front door one day.

You are a seeker. So, seek.

Seek out all the beautiful pathways in front of you at this moment in time. And there are many, I might add. The power and purpose you can create for yourself through these numerous pathways may surprise you.

If you need a little help carving out more purpose in your everyday life, I’ve written out a list of daily practices that can help you get started. I hope they help.

How to live with more purpose, right now:

1. Focus on creating more love in your life.

Are you REALLY loving both yourself and those around you? You can’t ever love too much.

2. Give out free kindness.

Treat everyone you meet as if they are someone you deeply care about. Even the stranger on the street.

3. Refrain from making quick judgments.

Instead of judging others, simply observe. Remember that quick assumptions are usually unfair and untrue.

4. Create more stillness within your life.

We live in a busy, materialistic world. The more you can get away from the noise and focus on inner peace, the better you will feel.

5. Don’t be afraid to stand up for what is right.

So many of us stay quiet when we see injustices in the world. You were given a voice for a reason. Use it with conviction, especially when doing so feels difficult or inconvenient.

6. Practice forgiveness daily.

Make a commitment to constantly forgiving both yourself and others, even for the smallest of things. Holding grudges only holds you back.

True purpose isn’t some BIG thing you accomplish after many years of hard work…

It’s here for you, right now.

It’s located in the small moments when you choose to live as your best self.

Seek the good, be kind, and do small acts of service every day.

This is what matters most.
