How to be more hopeful about the future

Things are always changing (even if you cannot see this change).

“Every time I feel hopeful about the future, I get scared. I don’t want to jinx the progress.”

Jay:

Goodness is at work. Negativity is loud and inefficient.

Hey there, friend.

I want to tell you a secret that not many people know.

Progress is not always obvious or easy to spot.

In fact, the most powerful kind of progress is entirely invisible.

It is not loud or in your face.

It never complains or begs for attention.

True progress the kind that can change a life, or even an entire generationoften silently waits in the shadows for a long time, building and planning and healing.

You see, goodness is always at work.

When things seem quiet and still, they are not actually quiet and still.

Although negativity likes to be loud and center stage, there is always something good going on in the background, quietly changing the world for the better.

The universe’s perfect gadgets and gears are grinding away every second of every day in order to create something better for us all.

You are part of that goodness.

Even if you are unaware of it happening, the components of your life are constantly moving and shifting in order to create greater abundance and love for you.

The only thing that can slow it down is your own resistance to change.

What supercharges this growth is your ability to see the possibilities around you, which is a kind of recognition that is entirely up to you.

When you choose to see the positive, your life changes faster.

When you choose to be kind, your abundance grows.

When you choose to be loving, the love around you is magnified.

Do you see how powerful you are?

Believing that good things are happening for you is the very thing that allows those good things to unfold.

Progress is amplified by your decision to approach life with enthusiasm and a hopeful spirit.

And there are many kinds of progress, by the way.

Sure, financial and career growth is important.

But please don’t discount the other kinds of progress, which may be more difficult to define but are even more critical to your own personal well-being:

Spiritual growth.

Personal development.

Embodying the simple everyday joys of life.

Nurturing your spirit.

So, when you’re out in the world, going about your everyday life, remember this…

Things are always changing (even if you cannot see this change).

Goodness is at work.

Negativity is loud and inefficient.

And you have every reason to be hopeful about the future.

May you spread well-being everywhere you go,
