How to survive the negativity

Allow your mind to settle in a hopeful place.

“It feels like everything on the news is negative. It makes me feel so anxious. How are we supposed to find peace in this modern age?”

__________

Jay:

When you allow your mind to settle in a hopeful place, you start seeing all the good that is around you.

Hey there, friend.

A lot of negativity is thrown our way on a daily basis.

All you have to do is open your phone to see something that makes your heart sink.

If you’re not careful, this negativity can pull you into a dark place where you don’t want to go.

That’s why focusing on peace and hope is so important.

When you focus on the positive, your life gets brighter.

When you allow your mind to settle in a hopeful place, you start recognizing all the good that is around you.

You see, you always have the choice.

You can either choose to be consumed by anxiety and fear, or you can refuse to let your mind and heart be occupied by anything but love.

Belief is very powerful.

When you choose to believe that the world is mostly good, then the goodness of the world gets stronger.

No, this isn't about ignoring the darkness or acting like everything is always okay…

Instead, we can acknowledge that bad things are happening in our world and then demand greater solutions and action.

We are not being delusional when we say that brighter days are ahead.

We know they are coming.

And what’s more, we are clever enough not to get lost in the negativity along the way.

With gratitude,
