I’ve been happily married to my wife Radhi for 9 years. Which isn’t the longest relationship in the world, but it’s long enough that I have a little bit of perspective on what keeps people together.
I’m more in love with Radhi than ever. And the reason is simple.
We accept that change is inevitable. Especially in a person.
I’m going to discover new things about me. I’m going to let go of things that used to serve me, while finding new ones to hold onto. And so will she.
My job isn’t actually to just stay loving her. It’s to fall in love with every new version of her – over and over and over again. Because in our relationship, she’s already been so many different people. And just like I told People magazine in a recent interview, I’ve fallen in love with each and every one of them. Every single day.
Learn from this investor’s $100m mistake
In 2010, a Grammy-winning artist passed on investing $200K in an emerging real estate disruptor. That stake could be worth $100+ million today.
One year later, another real estate disruptor, Zillow, went public. This time, everyday investors had regrets, missing pre-IPO gains.
Now, a new real estate innovator, Pacaso – founded by a former Zillow exec – is disrupting a $1.3T market. And unlike the others, you can invest in Pacaso as a private company.
Pacaso’s co-ownership model has generated $1B+ in luxury home sales and service fees, earned $110M+ in gross profits to date, and received backing from the same VCs behind Uber, Venmo, and eBay. They even reserved the Nasdaq ticker PCSO.

Intention is a daily practice
If you’ve ever fallen in love, you know it can be all-consuming. You think about the person all the time, finding new reasons to text them or ask them questions. When you’ve been in a relationship with someone for a while, that urgency and excitement naturally ebbs a bit. But there are things you can do to keep that curiosity alive. (One of them is to find new in the old, something I wrote about just a few weeks ago.)
Try This: You can do this with any relationship you’re in – romantic, familial, or platonic. What if you allow yourself to loosen up your understanding of who they are, and approach them as if you’re just getting to know them? I don’t mean forget the key details of their life. I mean, throw away any assumptions. Ask them an open-ended question you genuinely don’t know the answer to. And see where it leads you.
Your relationships – all of them – will change. Don’t be scared. That’s totally normal. Change is the only constant in this life.
One of the scarier changes we can grapple with can be a change in our health and physical capability. On this week’s podcast, I had the honor of speaking with my friend, Dr. Mark Hyman, who shared his story of overcoming a spinal infection that nearly claimed his life. Mark is a medical doctor and the co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Function Health. In this extremely vulnerable conversation, Mark describes how his condition robbed him of the ability to walk and made him dependent on others for help with simple tasks. How did he respond? He applied the key health principles he’s been advocating for throughout his medical career to his own condition. For five determined months, Mark adhered to a strict diet and exercise plan, and maintained a strong and unshakable mindset. His body healed, and now, at 65, he feels stronger than ever.
Mark’s amazing story set off our wide-ranging and essential conversation about battling chronic illness, fatigue, brain fog, and other conditions that creep into our lives and start to hold us back. Mark discusses the growing prevalence of autoimmune diseases, and delves into underlying causes like inflammation, nutritional deficiencies, ultra-processed foods, and environmental toxins. He also supplies essential tips and approaches to daily well-being. What results is an inspiring game plan for how each of us can feel our strongest, at any age or stage of life.

I challenge you to pick somebody important to you and think of a question you don’t know the answer to. Reply to this email right now and commit to asking them that question. I can’t wait to hear how it goes.
Last week, I challenged you to implement a daily routine.
Reader Lenny wrote,
I would like to implement and improve my workout, dinner, and meditating routine. This will allow me to bring the day to a close. I live in an apartment residence which has a 24/7 workout facility which gives me immediate access upon arrival home at 5:30pm; dinner at 6:45pm and meditation during the 7 o'clock hour. Implementing this routine will afford me the opportunity to prepare and conquer the next day. I'm on a sobriety journey and I would definitely benefit from a consistent routine.
This is fantastic, Lenny. We often focus on morning routines, but having a consistent evening routine is just as important. Transitioning into the evening hours can be unexpectedly difficult, but I love that you’re finding a way to dedicate this time of day to self-care and reflection.
Reader Cecile said,
I will commit to grounding each morning.
Cecile, this is so simple and so profound. When we hear the word “routine,” it’s easy to start making an elaborate schedule, where each block of time is strictly accounted for. I love this contrast: you are making a simple, forthright commitment that will have powerful reverbations throughout your day, no matter what it holds in store for you.
