Most of us don't lack possibility.
We think we lack permission.
Permission to want something different, to start over, to take the voice inside of us seriously – the one that's been whispering the same thing for years, even as life got louder.
I've spoken with a lot of people who seem successful from the outside but feel stuck on the inside. Not because their life is bad, but because somewhere along the way, they stopped asking what they actually wanted and started waiting for permission to act on the voice that they already knew.
Here's what I've learned: possibility doesn't disappear. It waits.
It's patient in a way we rarely are with ourselves, and the moment you create a small amount of stillness, the moment you stop reacting long enough to actually listen, it speaks.
If you cleared the room and gave yourself the permission you thought you were lacking:
What would it say to you?
What would it want for you?
What would you feel called to do?
I don't ask those questions to be theoretical. I ask them because most of us have never genuinely given ourselves permission to ask them.
We skim past them quickly, nervously, afraid of what the honest answer might ask of us.
I invite you to sit with those questions today. Not to solve them. Just to hear what comes up.
That's where things worth building begin.
With love,
Jay ♥️
