Today’s Wisdom

Your growth is reflected in how you choose to show up today.

Read time: 4 minutes.
This is your permission to pause and take a little time for yourself.

Are you holding onto something that you want to let go of?

Is there an unsaid thought or a past reaction you keep replaying in your mind?

I invite you to stop for a few moments and reflect on that.

Sometimes we think that moving forward requires us to fix every mistake, resolve every conflict, or rewrite the moments we wish we had handled better. So we replay conversations on the drive home, second-guess ourselves, and carry the burden of unresolved moments long after everyone else has moved on.

Carrying regret will not alter what already happened.

It only drains your energy from the people who need your presence right now (including you). Instead, focus on what you can do differently today.

  • Offer the apology.

  • Listen without getting defensive.

  • Forgive yourself for not knowing better.

  • Give your attention to whoever needs it most.

Let your actions reflect your growth.

Today, I encourage you to put down whatever emotional weight is keeping you from showing up with an open heart.

Love,
Jay ❤️
