Today’s Wisdom
Taking ownership of your overwhelm protects your most valued relationships.
Read time: 4 minutes.
This is your permission to pause and take a little time for yourself.
A slight delay or a minor misunderstanding happens, and suddenly a friend, partner, or coworker gets caught in the crossfire of your mood.
When we step back, we usually realize our reaction had very little to do with that specific moment and had more to do with the result of a full week of unaddressed pressure. If we neglect our internal stressors, our reactions can become unpredictable, and the people we love most end up carrying the cost.
Today I encourage you to take time to look back at your week with clarity. Allow yourself to step away from the noise, and reconnect with your daily practices. When you take responsibility for processing your own internal load, you protect the connections that matter most.
Wishing you a grounded, restorative weekend.
Love,
Jay ❤️
