Today’s Wisdom

You don’t need to fix, solve, or prove anything today to still make progress.

Read time: 4 minutes.
This is your permission to pause and take a little time for yourself.

Sometimes we spend so much energy trying to keep up with every expectation and every goal that we forget we don’t have to juggle everything at once. We push ourselves to move faster, believing that if we just hold on a little tighter, we’ll finally feel in control.

But growth requires space. It needs room to breathe.

What if you gave yourself permission to drop your shoulders today? What if you trusted that the things left unfinished, the conversations still waiting to happen, or the answers you haven’t figured out yet can wait?

Reclaiming your peace isn't about ignoring priorities. It's about honouring your boundaries. You don't have to carry every burden at once to make progress.

Put down the heavy expectations for a moment. Give yourself room to just exist without needing to solve, fix, or prove anything.

Love,
Jay ❤️

Apology Tour is a new series where I ask strangers around the world one simple question: "Who do you want to apologize to?"

Apology #11 is out now, and it’s where you’ll hear Derek apologize to his college housemates for his behavior when he was struggling with an eating disorder.
