Today’s Wisdom

Take the weekend to pause, reset, and realign. Let go of what was, and breathe into what is.

Read time: 4 minutes.
This is your permission to pause and take a little time for yourself.

During the week, it’s easy to get caught up in that noise: the conversations you meant to have but didn't find the space for, the people you meant to connect with, but couldn’t find the energy for.

As we step into the weekend, I invite you to release those thoughts.

Leave all of that here, and let the weekend be your room to breathe.

When we give ourselves a moment to pause, we often notice what we’ve really been holding onto. It’s often not regret at all, but rather just loose ends. We can convince ourselves that because time has passed, those things don't matter anymore, or that bringing them up will be awkward and heavy.

But reaching out to someone to clear the air, apologize for a past mistake, or say, "I was thinking about you," doesn't always have to be a heavy conversation. Sometimes, it can bring a sense of lightness, laughter, and a renewed feeling of connection.

This weekend, give yourself grace for whatever you didn't get to this week. And if there's someone on your heart you've been meaning to reach out to, maybe send a quick text, give them a call, or even ask for a short visit.

You might be surprised by how much lighter you both feel when those loose ends are tied up.

Love,
Jay ❤️

Apology #9 is out now, and it’s where you’ll hear Devens apologize for stealing $1000 of his brother's Yu-Gi-Oh cards when they were kids.
