Today’s Wisdom
Let the burden leave, the lesson stay, and the love return.
Read time: 4 minutes.
This is your permission to pause and take a little time for yourself.
At times, the kindest thing you can do for a relationship is leave it alone for a while.
Not because you don't love the other person, but because you love them enough to come back different: softer, kinder, or more whole.
So today, I encourage you to step back if you need to, even just for a day or an hour. Not harshly, and not to punish the other person. Just to breathe and remember what your own voice sounds like when no one else is in the room.
You're not making space with the intention to stay gone. You're making space so that, if or when you return, you're whole enough to hold someone else without losing yourself in the process.
Love,
Jay ❤️
